Check out the official reveal trailer for EA's NBA LIVE 19 and get ready to build your squad.

With the 2018 NBA season officially coming to a close last night with the Golden State Warriors crowned champions once again, defeating LeBron James and the Cavaliers, EA is ready to turn the page. During EA Play today, we got our first look at NBA LIVE 19, the next instalment in the publisher's basketball video game series.

As you can see, there's a big emphasis on THE ONE mode, NBA LIVE's version of 2K Sports "MyCareer." Particularly, this year's mode adds the challenge of putting together a squad. LeBron James couldn't do it alone and neither can you. EA teases of THE ONE: " Players can't do it alone though, as this year's game will challenge them to travel the globe building a squad composed of some of the world's greatest players."

NBA LIVE 19 is also said to feature "numerous new features and enhancements." While many critics agreed NBA LIVE 18 was a noticeable improvement over its predecessors, many also believe there is still plenty of room for improvement, especially in an attempt to catch the 2K series.

This year, EA is implementing something called "Real Player Motion (RPM) Tech," which the publisher says will "introduce thousands of new animations and smoother gameplay than ever before." Today's trailer does little to back that claim, but fans will actually get a chance to play it for themselves early.

NBA LIVE 19 will have a free demo starting August 24, two weeks ahead of the game's full launch on September 7 on Xbox One and PS4. Additionally, EA Access members on Xbox LIVE can play up to 10 hours as part of the Play First Trial on September 3.
