AFAIK this film covers half of the first book. I wouldn't be surprised if some scenes for the sequel have already been shot.

I hope they don't "straight white male-ify" Baron Harkonnen. He is an evil despicable man who happens to be homosexual but in the current political zeitgeist, that may not go down too well. Stay true to the source material please filmmakers.
