The rumours/leaks are true, RAGE 2 is happing and it's being developed by idSoftware and Avalanche Studios, the latter of which developed Mad Max, a game which seems to be closely linked with RAGE 2.
The game appears to be taking a very different form compared to its predecessor, Rage which released back in 2010. Brighter colours and a bigger focus on mayhem see the game look more awesome than ever and with the gameplay trailer coming tomorrow, we don’t have long to wait to see whats in store.
The reveal trailer below features no gameplay but there is plenty of CG to get you excited (maybe)! Check it out below.
I enjoyed the original Rage game but I'm not too sure I'll be rushing out to buy this.
A Russia 2018 World Cup update is coming to FIFA 18 on May 29. The content update will be free for all players across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, rather than a stand-alone game.
“Revel in the epic tournament exactly how it will play out in real life,” EA said on their official site.
“Choose from any of the 32 qualified nations and play through the authentic tournament structure, from the group stage to the final in Moscow.”
As well as the real-life format of the tournament, players will also be able to create their own custom competition with any of the licenced national teams in the game.
You’ll also be able to play offline line matches with the official kits and teams either with friends or against the AI.
There’ll also be an expansion of the ever-popular Ultimate Team mode, where would-be managers can create teams using players from the 32 teams that have qualified, plus World Cup legends like Ronaldinho. EA has said that the patch will include “All-New Icons”, but it’s not clear whether that means just new to the game-mode or we’ll see new legends like Roberto Baggio or all-time World Cup top-scorer Miroslav Klose.
The full roster of features for the World Cup Ultimate Team is as follows:
- All-New ICONS: FIFA World Cup Ultimate Team will feature some of the most iconic players from the tournament’s history.
- Chemistry System: Link your favourite international players; instead of clubs and leagues, nationalities and confederations will be key chemistry components to consider when building and organizing your squad.
- FIFA World Cup™ Player Pool: Featuring up-to-date squads from every qualified nation with refreshed ratings, [RA1] you’ll have everything you need to build your international dream squad.
- Dynamic Items: Built to match real-world performance, these items will update based on the performances of players who stood out on matchday, with upgraded stats, ensuring a fresh and relevant experience for the entire tournament.
- Double Pack Incentive: For every Standard or Premium pack you purchase in FIFA World Cup Ultimate Team, you will receive equivalent pack value in FUT 18.
- Ultimate Team Game Modes: Experience several exciting ways to play with your international dream squad.

Red Dead Redemption 2's latest trailer will arrive on Wednesday.
Rockstar Games has been pretty quiet about Red Dead Redemption 2 since a gameplay leak a few months back, but that may be about to change in a big way. The company’s official Twitter feed has confirmed that a new official trailer will be arriving this week.
This game will be a prequel to 2010’s massively popular Red Dead Redemption. Its story follows Arthur Morgan, an outlaw who becomes involved in the early exploits of the Van der Linde gang.
Official details are fairly slim, but hopefully this new trailer will bring some story and gameplay elements to light.
The new Shadow of the Tomb Raider trailer has now released which does an excellent job of getting us excited for the release of the game, which is coming on September 14th.
This is the first we have seen of the game after we got the teaser announcement last month and it appears to be pretty damn good. Early impressions from journalists who got to play the game last night are mostly positive with the game being praised for its looks, attention to detail and more. Taking a look at the trailer, we get a bit of everything, scaling huge cliffs a gorgeous environment, some crazy bad guys and of course, some awesome stealthy take downs. Check out the trailer below
As Lara Croft races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse, she must become the Tomb Raider...
The screenshots, all of which can be seen below, first appeared on Amazon before getting pulled. The shots show a couple of varied locations, and the quality looks about as good as Rise. See them all below.“In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Lara must master a deadly jungle, overcome terrifying tombs, and persevere through her darkest hour. As she races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse, Lara will be forged into the Tomb Raider she is destined to be.”
According to one picture, Shadow of the Tomb Raider will launch with five editions on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. You get your standard, deluxe and collector’s editions, but there’s also the Croft Edition (both digital and physical).
The contents of the various editions are unclear, but the description for the collector’s edition appears to show it having the base game, a statue, a miniature axe bottle opener, flashlight, the soundtrack, and three weapons and outfits for Lara.
There’s plenty in the pipeline for Battlefield 1 players into June.
DICE announced it is making more maps part of the Battlefield 1 DLC They Shall Not Pass available to all players.
Rupture is available from today, and more maps from They Shall Not Pass will be released in May.
In June, Shock Operations will be introduced to Battlefield 1. This new mode supports 40 players and sees attackers and defenders battling over sectors. Unlike Operations, the action will occur on a single map.
Shock Operations will be available on five maps: Giant’s Shadow, Lupkow Pass, Prise de Tahure, River Somme, and Zeebrugge. The maps will be accessible to those without the corresponding DLC or Premium Pass when playing Shock Operations.
Full access to these maps for modes other than Shock Operations will still require Battlefield 1 Premium Pass or the standalone expansion packs.
Monthly updates for Battlefield 1 will continue until June. Until that time, DICE will release “fresh content, and various tweaks and fixes.” Updates will cover matchmaking, weapon balancing, and more.
DICE promised in March it would continue to support Battlefield 1 for a bit longer; however, only a very small team will continue the support. The majority are working on this year’s Battlefield rumoured to be set during World War 2.
